A short 5-minute drive from the terminal building, Windy Depot Wellington has both covered and open-air parking spaces, as well as vehicle washing and servicing, meaning that you can come back to a sparkling clean car. The car park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; suitable for both early morning and late night flights and offers excellent Wellington Airport parking prices.
Windy Depot Wellington is protected by a range of security features, including CCTV and regular patrols, ensuring peace of mind while you're away.
The Long Term Car Park is a budget shuttle car park, which offers excellent airport parking prices. The car park is connected to the terminal building by a complimentary shuttle bus, which runs approximately every 15 minutes, and operates during the opening hours of the terminals.
The shuttle bus does take an intermittent 30-minute break, during the weekends at 9:30 and 17:30. So, if you need a transfer at these times, opt to park with an on-demand shuttle service car park or one within walking distance.
Stays under 3 days are not available to be pre-booked. Travellers must drive up to the car park on their day of departure if they plan to park here for 3 days or less.
The shuttle bus is not set up for baby car seating, and you would need to make alternative arrangements if travelling with young children. Spaces at the Long Term Car park can be pre-booked online, or customers can instead opt to pay drive-up rates. Please keep in mind that the long-term car park is cashless.
A popular option for great Wellington Airport car parking fees, the Uncovered Car park is located five minutes away from the south end of the terminal. Additionally, there is uncovered parking on the top deck, which will be adjacent to the drop-off area. The car park offers no-frills car storage, and spaces are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
The Covered Car Park is located within the multi-level car park building, on levels 1 to 7. This Wellington Airport car park provides weather protected parking for your vehicle and is located adjacent to the terminal building. Travellers should note that there is a 2.1m height restriction in place at this facility, and all vehicles must fit within a standard-sized parking bay.
While the covered car park doesn't have the best Wellington Airport parking rates, it does offer convenient, protected parking!
Valet Parking Wellington Airport offers long term parking, as well as exterior and interior car grooming. To utilise the Valet Parking service, drive to the dedicated valet parking bay at the top of the drop-off ramp on Level 1, and hand your keys to a trained, friendly member of staff.
You’ll be able to walk straight to the terminal, while they drive your car to the secure storage area. On your return to Wellington, your car will be waiting for you by the valet pickup area on the Ground Level. Car grooming services are offered at this valet service for an additional fee.
The Premium Secure car park is located on the ground and mezzanine levels of the multi-level car park building. Located close to the terminal building, the Premium Secure lot provides covered, weather-protected, long term parking.
The car park is protected by a range of advanced security measures, including security camera monitoring of all vehicles, and its own barrier-protected, dedicated entrance and exits. Travellers should note that a 2.1m height restriction applies in this car park, and vehicles must fit within a standard sized bay.
For short stays at Wellington Airport, you can use the Public Pick-up or Drop-off Zones, the P120 Express car park, or the Covered, Uncovered, and Premium Secure lots. If you're quickly picking up or dropping off passengers, a 10-minute grace period applies to these options.
Beyond ten minutes, parking fees start at $17.00 for 1 hour at the Uncovered lot, $21.00 at the Covered lot, and $24.00 at the Premium Secure lot. Daily rates start at $45.00, $55.00, and $62.00 for the same lots.
💡Pick-Up & Drop-Off Tip: The Pick-up Zone is located outside the terminal on the Ground floor, while the Drop-off Zone is on Level 1, up the ramp. Use the second lane from the terminal, as the first is for taxis only. Unattended vehicles are not allowed, so consider the P120 Express car park for longer goodbyes.
