If you pre-booked your spot online, simply drive up to the entry gate at the Uncovered Car Park, and the licence plate recognition system will automatically issue you a ticket and open the gate. Be sure to keep the ticket in case it's needed for exiting the car park. If you haven't pre-booked, you can still drive up to the car park on your day of departure and take a ticket at the entry gate. Payment for your parking can be made upon exit.
If you pre-booked your parking spot, drive to the exit barrier. As long as there are no outstanding or overstay charges, the barrier will automatically lift for you. If there are additional charges or the barrier does not open, you'll need to insert the ticket received upon entry to exit.
If you didn’t pre-book, payment can be made by credit card or payWave at the exit barrier, or with cash or EFTPOS at the pay stations. Electronic payments are also accepted at the Parking Services office.

Travellers have the option to reserve this car park either online or in person. To book online, simply click the 'Book Now' button above to enter your travel dates and secure your spot. If you made an online reservation, please arrive in the vehicle you registered. If you need to use a different car, update your vehicle information in the "Manage My Booking" section on the Wellington Airport website. You can pre-book your parking up to 2 hours before your arrival and as far as 12 months in advance.

For parking at the Uncovered Car Park, the first ten minutes are free. After that, rates increase to $3.00 for 10 to 14 minutes, $11.00 for 30 to 44 minutes, and $17.00 for 60 to 74 minutes. Following this, there’s a charge of $4.00 for every hour or part thereof. Daily drive-up rates start at $45.00 for one day, $135.00 for three days, $225.00 for five days, and $360.00 for eight days. Prices then increase to $540.00 for twelve days and $630.00 for fourteen days (or two weeks). Each additional day thereafter will cost $45.00.
