The Park and Ride Car Parks at Auckland Airport, Park & Ride North, and Park & Ride South are official airport car parks located a 10 - 15 minute shuttle ride away from the Domestic & International Airport terminals. Both car parks are open-air, open 24/7, with shuttle services running every 10 - 15 minutes to and from the airport terminals.
There are two park-and-ride car parks at Auckland Airport - each designed for budget-friendly travellers who don't mind a longer shuttle ride to the terminals, and their vehicles being kept in an outdoor lot.
Both Park and Ride North and Park & Ride South Car Parks are located a 10 - 15 minute shuttle ride away from the terminals. The shuttles run to and from the domestic terminal every 10 minutes between 3:00 am and 11:30 pm. However, the shuttle operates to and from the international terminal every 10 minutes 24/7.
Shuttle Pick-Up Location: The Park & Ride bus departs from Bus Stop C at the domestic terminal and from Bus Stop C on the ground floor of the Transport Hub at the international terminal. Make sure to board the correct bus, as one is marked North and the other South. The North bus travels exclusively to Park & Ride North, while the South bus goes only to Park & Ride South. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask the driver for assistance.
Both car parks are open-air and feature 24/7 CCTV surveillance, automated entry and exit barriers, on-site staff, and secure perimeter fencing. The car parks are paved with asphalt, providing a durable surface for your vehicle.
Drive-up rates at the car parks differ from the rates you can access by booking online. To save money, it’s always advisable to reserve your spot online, even if it’s just a few hours or a day in advance, as drive-up rates tend to be higher. If you aren’t able to book ahead, the drive-up rates at both car parks start at $5.00 for the first 0 to 30 minutes, $11.00 for 60 to 75 minutes, and $11.00 for 90 to 120 minutes, with an additional $4.00 for each hour thereafter. Daily rates begin at $32.00 for 24 hours, $45.00 for three days, $65.00 for five days, and $95.00 for eight days. Each additional day will cost $10.00.
