Drive to the car park and park your car in the drop-off zone or, depending on the service, park your car yourself.
Catch one of the regular shuttle buses to the airport terminal. Some buses also run on demand. Buses take between 5 and 15 minutes to reach the terminal.
Catch the bus at the terminal or nearby and you will be taken back to the car park.
Collect your car at the pick-up zone and drive home.
The car park is located at Puhinui Road opposite of Campana Road. Upon arrival, if you pre-booked your spot online, simply drive up to the barrier arm, and the LPR camera will automatically recognize your license plate, allowing you to enter and exit without any delays.
If you haven’t pre-booked, don’t worry! Just remember to pay at one of the pay stations before returning to your vehicle to exit.
IMPORTANT: Due to the size of the car park, be sure to take a photo of the colour and row you left your vehicle in so you have no trouble finding it upon return.
Once you arrive at Auckland Airport, follow these directions based on your terminal. If you’re landing at the Domestic Terminal, head to Bus Stop C, located just outside the terminal. For those arriving at the International Terminal, go to Bus Stop C on the ground floor of the Transport Hub, also just outside the terminal. Be sure to catch a bus marked ‘South,’ as it’s the only service that goes to the Auckland Airport Park & Ride South Car Park. Buses labeled ‘North’ will take you to the Park & Ride North Car Park.
If you experience any issues while exiting the car park, press and hold the help/intercom button at the barrier for two seconds until you hear a ringing tone. Have your booking reference ready, which can be found in your confirmation or reminder email. The parking services team will assist by verifying your details and opening the barrier.
If you didn't pre-pay for your stay, pay at one of the payment stations located within the car park before returning to your vehicle to exit.
For any additional charges incurred for early arrival or late departure, you can pay these when you leave. For further inquiries about parking, feel free to email parking@aucklandairport.co.nz.
